Redding, CA, prioritized staging a Holiday light display as a means of enhancing the City’s identity and appeal as a tourist destination. 3. Fromme Design collaborated with Turtle Bay Exploration Park staff and community leaders to outline goals, identity, ideal visitor experience, and circulation for the new attraction. Fromme then developed designs for a sequence of compellingly choreographed features showcasing and transforming the existing spaces, plantings, and landscape of the McConnell Botanical (within the Exploration Park) into a magical, not-to-miss, family-friendly regional draw. The show opened in 2020 and Fromme has continued his involvement in planning and design.
